Important COVID-19 Announcement
In these uncertain times, the NSW Health Department has issued certain directives to public and the organizations with regards to safeguarding against COVID-19. The Mandir Committee has deployed specific plans which meet these minimum requirements, and as such, the weekly prayers on Fridays will continue as per normal. For any questions on COVID-19 , please do not hesitate to contact the President or the Secretary.
Bhartiye Mandir Trust was first established in 1994. This Hindu Temple is located in the inner west suburb of Regents Park, approximately, 15 minutes walk from the train station. It is a place of worship, social gathering and celebrating cultural activities as outlined by Sanatan Dharam Sabha of Australia. The building is an old church which is the main place of worship and there is a peripheral building used for catering purpose. Read ‘About Us’ for our vision statement.
Please bring your family and friends and join us for Ram Katha every Friday. If you wish, you can bring offerings of flowers and Prasadam.
You can also invite our Ramayan Mandali to provide a more intimate RAMAYAN Katha at your place. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Normal Mandir Hours
Please be informed that the normal Friday evening programme is as follows:
7.00 pm Mandir Opens
7:30 pm Puja
7:50 pm Aarthi
8.00 pm Ramayan Katha
8.45 pm Shanti
9:00 pm Prasad and Maha Prasad (ie Dinner is provided)
10:15pm Mandir closed
On the other days, the Mandir will remain closed unless it is a special event such as Ram Naumi, Krishna Astmi, Shiv Ratri or Navratri.
